Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

We build things so that people can use them. That applies to this website as much as to the work we do for clients. If any part of this site is difficult for you to use, we want to hear about it and we will fix it.

The Standard We Build To

This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.1, at level AA. That is the level most commonly referenced in United States accessibility requirements.

What We Have Done

• Every colour combination used for text has been measured against the AA contrast requirement on the rendered page, not estimated from the palette
• Every page can be operated by keyboard alone, and the focused element is always visible
• A skip link at the top of each page moves you straight to the main content
• Headings follow a correct order, so screen reader navigation works as expected
• Every image carries alternative text, and decorative marks are hidden from screen readers
• Every form field has a label attached to it, and required fields are identified in writing rather than by colour alone
• The site is tested at 390, 768, 1024, and 1440 pixels wide, and never scrolls sideways
• Animation is limited, and is switched off for anyone whose device requests reduced motion
• Text can be enlarged in the browser without content being cut off

Known Limitations

Some images on the work pages are photographs of printed brand guidelines and product literature. The alternative text describes what each document is, but the small print inside those documents is not readable by a screen reader. If you need the content of any of them, write to us and we will send it in an accessible format.
